Statement of Work:
There are currently opportunities for experienced individuals with Department of Homeland Security IT and Mission programs knowledge and technical expertise within the past 10 years in the following areas of discipline:

Core Responsibilities:
-
The Consultant shall apply expertise to executive-level projects and analyze and assess future strategies, policies, and doctrines governing federal missions.

Provide analytical support for interagency and coalition policy formulations on mission issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and client equities are accurately represented.

Design, review, implement, and analyze discrete elements of one or more federal programs.
-
Provide executive leadership, advice, historical perspective, and guidance to DKC Group government consulting clients.

Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.

Research and understand the government client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings.

Develop white papers and concept of operations support documents.

Demonstrate and apply subject matter expertise during participation in client meetings and strategic planning sessions, both in person and via conference call.

Develop and cultivate knowledge of customer mission needs, execution challenges, key performance objectives and major influences.

Participate in other activities as needed and requested.
Basic Qualifications:
-
10+ years of demonstrated knowledge and technical experience.
-
BA/BS or equivalent is required.
-
Must be verifiably recognized as a leader in your field by peers.

Relevant organizational experience supporting federal programs.
-
Demonstrated experience should include leading or supporting a broad range of complex federal mission initiatives and investments in the Department of Homeland Security.
Desired Qualifications:
-
Prior experience working for DHS leading or supporting a key aspect of the DHS mission portfolio.

Already possess a Secret Security or suitability clearance.
Compensation:

The compensation is scaled based on relevant experience.
